"I love the creative side of interior design and controlling design ideas. Design is design — I'm interested in both residential and commercial design. This program has really helped me with the ability to put down ideas on paper and to present them in a way that they can be executed and brought to life.
If you're interested in beginning this program, understand that it's a lot of work. It takes a lot of commitment and time, and it's a serious career. If you work for yourself, you can be in control of your schedule, though most people don't start out that way. Every day is different — and there are so many different things you can do. Work is never repetitious, that's for sure.
You can find areas within this industry where you excel — whether it's renderings or CADD and find out what works best for you. If you're lucky you can do it all, but most people find a niche that works best for them."
